Orientation and “How To Audition” Class
Live Oak Theatre company announces that it will conduct an orientation to Live Oak Theatre and “How to Audition” program. The program consists of two, one and a half hour classes held from 6:30 to 8 pm on August 14 and August 16. The orientation program will be held at its new Center for the Performing Arts, located at 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, FL 34601.
Completion of this program is a requirement to audition for children, young adults, and parents of children who wish to audition for Live Oak Theatre. Children who attended LOT summer camps do not need to attend orientation.
The instructor for this class is Vince Vanni with a special presentation for parents by Eric Kessel. Mr. Vanni’s students currently appear throughout the area in both amateur and professional venues. There is no tuition for these classes.
Those who successfully complete the program will be able to audition for Live Oak Theatre’s musical productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, It’s a Wonderful Life radio play, and the classic musical Godspell.
Auditions for all season productions will be held on Tuesday and Thursday, August 21 & 23, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the Center for the Performing Arts, 21030 Cortez Boulevard, Brooksville, FL 34601.
